The NCCA has recently published proposals related to structure and time in the primary curriculum. This is the first time, in almost twenty years, that those working in primary education have had an opportunity to consider the structure of the curriculum, what it should comprise and how time should be allocated within it.

As part of the consultation, the NCCA will host a consultative conference on March 28th in Dublin Castle. This event will provide an opportunity for school leaders, teachers, early childhood practitioners, parents, researchers and members of the wider public to respond to, and share their thoughts on the proposals.
