NCCA are currently capturing feedback from teachers, students and stakeholders on the early enactment of the Junior Cycle Business Studies and Science Specifications in addition to continuing the review of Junior Cycle English. Feedback and information will be gathered through consultation events, written submissions and school visits.
Consultation Events
Three consultation events have been organised which are open to teachers of Business Studies, English and Science. The venues and dates for these events are as follows:
Cork (Clayton Hotel, Lapps Quay, Cork City): 12th November 10.30am - 1.45pm
Galway (Galmont Hotel, Lough Atalia Road, Galway): 18th November 10.30am - 1.45pm
Dublin (Hilton Hotel, Kilmainham): 5th December 10.30am - 1.45pm
Registration for these events is now closed as all places have been filled.
Places at these events have been offered on a first come, first served basis and are limited to 20 teachers per subject per event.
Written Submissions
NCCA also welcomes written submissions as part of the review of the early enactment of Business Studies and Science. A template to support written feedback is provided below with suggested areas for discussion and feedback.

School Visits
As part of the review of the early enactment of Business Studies and Science, NCCA will conduct teacher and student focus groups in a cross-section of schools in the coming months.
Report on Findings
A report on the findings of the review will be published in Spring 2020.
