Tionchar na Leasuithe ar Bhéaltriail na Gaeilge ag Leibhéal na hArdteistiméireachta

Tá an Chomhairle Náisiúnta Curaclaim agus Measúnachta (CNCM) tar éis staidéar taighde a choimisiúnú maidir leis an mBéaltriail leasaithe i Scrúdú Gaeilge na hArdteistiméireachta agus a tionchar ar fheidhmíocht na n-iarrthóirí. Bhí na taighdeoirí dírithe ar thionchar na leasuithe seo a iniúchadh ag an Ardleibhéal agus ag an nGnáthleibhéal amháin. Tá dhá chuid sa staidéar taighde seo: an tionchar a bhí ag na leasuithe ar fheidhmíocht na n-iarrthóirí sa bhéaltriail, agus tionchar na leasuithe ar fheidhmíocht na n-iarrthóirí sa scrúdú scríofa. Tugann an tuarascáil seo breac-chuntas ar thorthaí an staidéir taighde. The National Council for Curriculum and Assessment (NCCA) has commissioned a research study into the revised Leaving Certificate Oral Irish Examination and its impact on student performance. The researchers’ focus was to investigate the impact of these revisions at Higher and Ordinary levels only.  This research study comprises two parts: the impact of the revisions on student performance in the oral examination, and the impact of the revisions on student performance in the written examination. This report outlines the findings of the research study.
