LC Spanish Working Group

NCCA welcomes expressions of interest from post-primary teachers of Spanish who would like to be involved in the review of the prescribed literature for the Leaving Certificate Spanish syllabus. This work will begin in October 2023. Applications are welcome from current post-primary Leaving Certificate Spanish teachers who meet the following criteria:

• have experience of and are currently teaching the Leaving Certificate Spanish syllabus
• special interest and/or expertise in Spanish Literature (e.g. special interest or expertise in teenage literature, novels, poetry, drama, etc.)
• commit to attending a series of meetings from October 2023

Selections will be made based on relevant teaching experience (Leaving Certificate Spanish) and other relevant expertise in Spanish literature.
In addition to the above criteria, consideration will be given to the applicant's school context. Shortlisting may apply.

Substitution and supervision cover as well as travel and subsistence will be provided for all meetings.
